Dr. Francis Morgan
D.D.S.
Dr. Francis was born and raised on a farm in Southern Maryland. His interest in dentistry began in high school when he enrolled in a dental assisting course and excelled. While working as a general and pediatric dental assistant, he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree at Salisbury University, graduating Cum Laude in Biological Sciences with minors in chemistry and psychology. He was also known as Sammy the Seagull, Salisbury University’s mascot.
After completing his undergraduate degree, Dr. Francis attended Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington D.C., where he excelled in fixed prosthodontics, dental radiology, pediatric dentistry, and community outreach. During his studies, he participated in Remote Area Medical mission trips, Lifelong Medical Mission Trips, and Missions of Mercy’s free dental clinic. Graduating in May 2022, he pursued his passion by starting a residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Howard University College of Dentistry, with plans to graduate in Summer 2024.
Growing up in rural Maryland, Dr. Francis is a strong advocate for children’s oral health. He enjoys making kids laugh and showing them that the dentist's office isn’t scary. Though he doesn’t have children of his own, Dr. Francis treats every child with care and nurturing. You might hear him singing Disney songs or telling stories about the importance of oral hygiene and how brushing can scare away “sugar bugs.”
In his free time, Dr. Francis enjoys reading, working out, exploring Washington D.C., and playing on an adult kickball team.
