Dr. Lam earned her dental degree from the University of Maryland – Baltimore, College of Dental Surgery, following a bachelor's in biology and psychology from the University of Maryland at Baltimore County. She pursued post-graduate studies in general dentistry at the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. After two years as a general dentist, she specialized in pediatric dentistry at Stony Brook University in Long Island, NY, with additional training in behavioral management, hospital and sedation dentistry, and care for patients with special needs.
Dr. Lam is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of both the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Maryland Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She volunteers with organizations such as Operation Smile, the Le Hoang Foundation, and the Viet Toc Foundation.
